Scholarship Details:
The period of each research exchange placement will be agreed by negotiation between the Australian researcher and his or her home and host organisations. In each case, a commitment from the host organisation to host the Australian researcher, as well as a letter of support from the candidate’s Australian employer, will be essential pre-conditions to consideration of a request for International Research Exchange funding from the ASI.
Eligibility Details:
Have been awarded an undergraduate or Masters degree or PhD in a field relevant to the candidate’s proposed research exchange activity, on or after March 2001; andBe an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident;
- Be undertaking full time research at a publicly-funded research institution in Australia;
- Be accepted at a host organisation outside Australia that is either a publicly-funded research institution or private sector organisation that is not a legally related entity of the candidate’s employer;

Application deadline is 29 February 2012, 25 April 2012, 27 June 2012 , 29 August 2012.
