IPENZ Foundation Engineering Scholarship, New Zealand

Scholarship Details:

As part of the Foundation’s objective “To encourage New Zealand school leavers into tertiary education and technology”, scholarships worth $5,000 are offered each year, for the purpose of assisting with university costs. Students from Years 12 or 13 are eligible to apply and the winners are chosen on the basis of their intent to pursue engineering as a career, motivation to succeed, academic merit and contribution to the wider community. 2013 there are a number of scholarships available, both for those studying a four year Bachelor of Engineering – (BE), Bachelor of Engineering Honours – (BE (Hons)), or a three year Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech) degree. The Foundation has been able to raise the profile of engineering amongst secondary school students and will continue to offer this type of scholarship each year. The Trustees would like to thank all candidates for their time and the considerable effort they went to in submitting an application.

Eligibility Details:

Scholarships shall be offered annually to students who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and who, in the year of the award, are enrolled to study towards an IPENZ accredited engineering degree: BE; BE (Hons); or BEngTech.
