The Indian Space Research Organisation is the primary body for space research under the control of the Government of India, and one of the leading space research organizations in the world.

Scholarship Details:

Applications are invited from the interested candidates fulfilling the following norms and having aptitude to carry out research work at NRSC, Hyderabad as per the details given below:

Post Code : JRF009: No. of posts:1: Qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Agricultural Meteorology.
Desirable: Experience in climate change studies, satellite data analysis, crop modeling and computer programming.

Post Code: JRF010: No. of Posts:1: Qualifications: M.Sc in Physical Oceanography/Physics/Statistics.
Desirable: Remote Sensing & GIS, Statistics and knowledge in programming languages.

Post Code: JRF011: No. of Posts:2: Qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc in Remote Sensing/Physics/Physical Oceanography.
Desirable: Experience in analysis of satellite data, generation of statistics, computer languages.

Post Code: JRF012: No. of Posts:1: Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physical Oceanography/ Meteorology or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science.
Desirable: Knowledge in data processing (Satellite/in-situ/reanalyzed products) using statistical methods. Computer knowledge in C+/ Fortran 77 or higher. Preference will be given to those who are working in the relevant projects for the last two years.

Desirable: Knowledge in data processing (Satellite/in-situ/reanalyzed products) using statistical methods. Computer knowledge in C+/Fortran 77 or higher. Preference will be given to those who are working in the relevant projects for the last two years.

Desirable: Working experience in database handling and computer programming (C++/JAVA/FORTRAN).

Desirable: Aptitude to work in software development.

Desirable: Experience in handling data of microwave sensors.

Post Code: JRF024: No. of posts:1: Qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc.(Tech)/M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics/Applied Geophysics.
Desirable: Knowledge in GIS & Remote Sensing will be an added advantage.

Fellowship amount: Rs.12,000/- plus HRA 30%. Degree(s) mentioned for the fellowships in this advertisement means FIRST CLASS DEGREES ONLY i.e. from B.Sc. onwards with good academic record. In case of M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc./B.E/B.Tech the candidates should possess First Class with not less than 65% of marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on 10 scale or equivalent from B.Tech / B.E. / MSc. onwards.
