Scholarship Details:
The School for Policy Studies is seeking a Research Assistant to work on two international quantitative research projects; (1) “Examining the Impact of Social Policies on Health Equity: How Policies Designed to Reduce Poverty and Gender Inequality Affect Morbidity and Mortality in Children and Women” funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) and (2) “Child Poverty and Quality of Government – A Global Analysis” funded by the Swedish Research Council (FAS). Working under the general guidance of the Principal Investigator and in collaboration with Co-Investigators, you will be responsible for the harmonization of social survey micro-data from Demographic & Health Surveys (DHS), Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) and related surveys and for secure distribution of data to project partners. You will also assist with data analyses and subsequent dissemination of results through a range of media.
