Scholarship Details:
We are especially seeking candidates for the following two research projects: 1. “Integrated Scheduling and Synthesis of Networked Embedded Event-Based Control Systems”, funded by ELLIIT. This project is on the border between control engineering and real-time systems. Knowledge of real-time control and programming of embedded systems is a merit. 2. “Resource Allocation and Control of Distributed Service Management System”, funded by VR. This project is on the border between control engineering and telecommunication systems. The Doctoral student positions are mainly devoted to the postgraduate studies (80% of the time), but includes 20% department service, usually teaching. Most of the teaching at Automatic Control, LTH is performed using the Swedish language. This limits the availability of funds for students who do not speak Swedish.
Eligibility Details:
In order to be admitted to postgraduate studies in Automatic Control, the student must have completed a degree at advanced level (MSc) within a relevant study program. The applicant must also be deemed to have the ability to successfully complete postgraduate studies. Knowledge of server systems, databases and programming is a merit.
