Scholarship Details:
PhD student position in chemistry with focus on protein X-ray Crystallography and Bioinformatics to study the 3D structure, interactions and stability of proteins involved in photosynthesis. Today the Department of Chemistry at Umeå University has approximately 200 members offering a stimulating environment with a commitment to excellence in teaching and research. The department offers degrees at B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels, and our graduate- and postgraduate students are attractive for employment in academic institutions and industry.
Eligibility Details:
Applicants must be proficient in both oral and written communication in English, able to work independently as well as in collaboration with others and be highly motivated. Applicants should have a strong interest in each research area and be willing to take on a scientific and technical challenge.
