Postdoctoral Fellowship by Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, Poland

Scholarship Details:

Institute of hematology and transfusion medicine seeks a candidate for a post-doctoral fellowship In the TEAM project founded by Foundation or Polish Science Fields of studies: molecular pathogenesis of B-cell lymphoma, B-cell receptor signaling and signal transduction, biochemistry of redox signaling, mechanisms of miRNA-regulated gene expression. Aim: We plan to characterize the role of FOXO1 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, characterize molecular mechanisms modulating its function and develop rational therapeutic strategies.

Eligibility Details:

We are looking for a postdoc who will work on the mechanisms of redox signaling in lymphomas. We aim at hiring a PhD or MD/PhD candidate with background in experimental and clinical medicine, biochemistry, cell biology, and systems biology/bioinformatics. The candidate should possess background knowledge of lymphocyte biology, ontogenesis and signaling and be familiar with biochemistry of redox signaling. Familiarity with molecular pathogenesis of lymphomas, biology and clinical features of lymphomas and high-throughput data mining and microarray analysis will be considered strength.

Application Deadline:
Application deadline is August 15, 2012.
