Scholarships in Computer Science by Shinawatra University, Thailand

Scholarship Details:

The School of Information Technology (SoIT) at Shinawatra University (SIU) is offering 50 scholarships for new students admitted in its BSc in Computer Science (BSCS), MSc in IT (MSIT) and PhD in IT (PhD-IT) programs in this Academic Year 2012 (June 2012 – May 2013). Each scholarship will cover 50% of tuition fee for the entire program (subject to satisfactory academic performance). The School of IT is ranked #3 in the latest Research Assessment Exercise conducted countrywide by the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) for the Information and Communication Technology / Computer Engineering Discipline. SoIT faculty members are internationally recruited with research interests in diverse areas: Artificial Intelligence, Software and Requirement Engineering, Database, Networking, XML and Semantic Web Technology, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, E-Learning and Digital Library.

Eligibility Details:

-For BSCS Program Admission: High school certificate or equivalent
-For MSIT Program Admission: A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT or related area
-For PhD-IT Program Admission: A Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT or related area English Language Proficiency Certificate/Test Score (at least IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 530, or equivalent)
